Educate Girls US and Deepalaya MSEVPS signed MOU (Cohort-1) in September 2022 with a vision to enroll to 2000 OOSG (Out Of School Girls) in Government Schools by 2023

D2D Survey

Door-to-door survey in action in four blocks of Purnia District- Purnia East Block, Kasba Block, K.Nagar Block, Dagarua Block. A total of 144 villages were surveyed. Identified 4000 OOSGs. The work for expansion of project in Baisi, Amour, and zones of Purnia District is underway .

Total number of Schools (Govt.) covered: 136
Total number of OOSG enrolled in schools: 2340 (5-14yrs)
Total household covered: 65,589

In Cohort-3, 8 new blocks (Srinagar, B.Kothi, Jalalgarh, Dhamdaha, Amour, Baisi, Baisa, Banmankhi) have been added which expand the geographical to around 860 new villages. The project has been initiated in the respective blocks.

Maitri Cohort-3

Project timelines: January 2024- Sept 2025

In Cohort-3, 8 new blocks (Srinagar, B.Kothi, Jalalgarh, Dhamdaha, Amour, Baisi, Baisa, Banmankhi) have been added which expand the geographical to around 1100 new villages; along with RETENTION verification in Purnia East Block, Kasba Block, K.Nagar Block & Dagarua Block . The project has been initiated in the respective new blocks.
